Your dentist in Tittling

"Are you an ordinary dental clinic?"

A question that is asked more and more frequently by patients from Tittling and the Passau area and that we like to answer with: yes and no! Biological dentistry goes far beyond the range of classical dental clinics with regard to the examination and treatment of patients. A good example of this can be found on the subject of interference fields and jaw inflammations on this page. They can be an unnoticed trigger of massive chronic discomfort - a risk to the overall health and quality of life of many of our patients.

Diseased tissue disturbs the natural processes of the organism, the nerve cells and the metabolism. These processes go unnoticed in many cases, but with noticeable consequences for the patients:

  • Difficulties concentrating and inner restlessness
  • Lack of motivation and a depressive mood
  • Joint pain, back pain and facial pain
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Rheumatism and limb pain
  • Sleep disorders
  • Increased occurrence of skin irritation, allergies and intolerances
  • Infections due to a weakened immune system

We know the possible dangers of dead teeth

What happens during a root canal treatment (endodontics)? The inflamed nerve of an aching tooth and therefore its lifeline is removed. Instead of a living organ with a blood and nerve supply, a dead pillar remains in the mouth - and with it, germs and bacteria with their toxic waste.

In biological dentistry, we are very critical when it comes to dead, root-treated teeth since they have massive effects on the immune system. Scientific studies show that a root completely clear of bacteria is unrealistic and that dead tissue remains in the root-treated teeth.

A poison transport with consequences: from the mouth into the entire organism

Bacteria degrade the remaining tissue in dead teeth. This process produces highly toxic compounds that can inhibit the active center of many vital enzymes and provoke immunological responses. During each chewing process, bacteria and, above all, their toxins are released into the lymphatic system of the surrounding tissue. From there, they can enter the bloodstream of the entire body.

One of the most common interference fields in the jawbone is a chronic jaw ostitis. Here we are dealing with pathologically altered parts of the bone caused by inflammation. Instead of a stable skeleton, thin structures and cavities emerge in which germs and bacteria accumulate.

Since often neuralgic or neurological complaints are caused by these areas, this is also called "Neuralgia Inducing Cavitational Osteonecrosis" or in short "NICO"!

The characteristics of these interference fields include:

  • In most cases local absence of pain in these areas
  • A chronically inflamed bone
  • A soft bone structure, often filled with cystic tissue and inflammatory tissue
  • Increased levels of specific inflammatory markers as well as heavy metal accumulations
  • Increased occurrence of viruses, bacteria and fungi
